4.0 out of 5 stars best of the trilogy! 19 July 2014

Fine! Fine writing! The entry is by far the best of the three. No tedious backstory review or setup to wade through... Just a headlong plunge into a very meaty story that gains momentum relentlessly. Once again, the characters are well fleshed and live quite easily in the imagination. The story takes unexpected twists in just the right places and add emotion to the story. There are lovely little Bon mots of philosophical innuendo sprinkled throughout that caused this reader to make use of the highlight and note functions far more that expected. This is a trilogy that is highly recommended and I look forward to reading more of this authors work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully Written 24 January 2014
By Bluefig - Published on Amazon.com

I've just finished this last book in the Cobweb Bride Trilogy and wow! I very much enjoyed this story, it was very unique and so beautifully written. The trilogy isn't without it's flaws, and in a less engaging story I would have stopped reading in book one. The writing is so sublime but then an awkward or incorrect (by this I mean inappropriate in the context of the scene) word choice will pull me out of the story...but since I'm eager to know what happens next I keep reading. That is a testimony to how very talented this author is, that in spite of the little flaws (which could be fixed with a good editor) I couldn't stop reading. I'm very glad that the author stopped telling us every time a character had to "answer nature's call" (In Book one of the trilogy the reader was kept aware of how often the characters had to pee! lol)
Gorgeous descriptions, intriguing characters and a compelling plot made this trilogy the most enjoyable one I've read in years, and the first one I've been invested enough in to finish in quite some time. Now I'm off to see what else this author has written!

5.0 out of 5 stars She has me as a fan for Life 16 July 2014

Just finished all three and the characters and the story are still in my head. Vera Nazarian writes as though she is from the world where fantasies are born. She reminds me of Patricia A. McKillip whose writings to me are "enchanting". This story is none of the same old same old "Wizards and Warriors and Damsels in distress stuff. This is a unique world (set in the middle of our own), a unique story, and a beautiful way of telling the tale. I am now off to discover more from this author. I heard "Lord of Rainbow" and "Dreams of the Compass Rose" are excellent as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Series I'm Sorry to See End. 30 November 2014
By LAB - Published on Amazon.com

The conclusion to the Cobweb Bride series was just as fantastic as I had hoped. Again, none of my theories or predictions came true and I think that's a wonderful thing. It was truly a clever and fantastic piece of writing - the whole series, but there were moments in this particular book that I enjoyed spectacularly. The little details that were seeded in the earlier books came to play and it just brought a sense of completion and enjoyment. Truly an author who thought through the details before putting pen to paper.

I will probably end up buying hard copies of these books, I loved reading these books so much. I have no doubt they'll join my annual "reread" pile soon. Once I finish rereading them now.

5.0 out of 5 stars A nice end to a wonderful trilogy 19 January 2014
By Adam Platania - Published on Amazon.com

This is my short review from Goodreads but it still applies:

This is a hard 4 to 5 stars as I deeply enjoyed the book but there were times when I felt Nazarian was very repetitive with some info. It took away from my concentration of the story. However, she has such way with words and story that that part is easily overlooked for the magic that was created in this book!

Pulling in ancient myths and tying them together to be part of the grand scheme was such a lovely idea.

I don't think I can review this without spoiling it so I'll just say it is so worth the read and time, the whole trilogy is. If you like fantasy, sword play, romance, a little horror, and excitement then the Cobweb Trilogy is definitely for you.

Cobweb Forest had it all and tied up all the loose ends well. You will not be disappointed with the outcome and end to the series.
