5.0 out of 5 stars Great case - very good value 4 September 2013

I have the basic black Moto X so I got the black S-Line case. The X fits very snugly and securely.

Front:
The lips of the case wrap just barely around the front of the phone to provide a good fit and front-side protection without getting in the way of the screen. This is impressive considering the tiny bezels of the Moto X.

Back:
The back has a mostly "sanded" feeling to it along with the smaller glossy plastic portion. It isn't exactly a slip-resistant finish but it isn't the slick plastic you'll find on other cases. Along with all the necessary cut-outs for the camera, flash and speakers, this case has a cut-out for the little Moto X dimple, which is a nice touch and actually helps with the orientation of the X while it is in your hand. Your pointer finger really dips into the dimple that much more, giving you added feeling of secure handling when on a call.

Sides:
The sides of this case have a very pronounced pimpled design, which gives you absolutely great anti-slip confidence. The tiny little pimples line the sides for all except the top and bottom half inches. This improves upon concerns I've had with other cases that had a decent, but not great, ribbed design to provide better grip.

If you don't care about hiding the back of your Moto X, this is a great option. The color options for this case look good but the reason I stuck with black is I prefer a completely black front to the phone. For under $10, this is a very nice looking, feeling and handling case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Case For My Moto X 22 September 2013

My Cimo S Line Case is absolutely perfect for my Moto X! It fits like a glove, has the perfect amount of grip and looks totally great. I have a black phone and wanted a black case. The curved back with both smooth, shiny accents and matte textured finishes is both attractive and functional. The grippy, textured sides provide a secure grip for handling the phone without risk of having it slip from your hand under almost any circumstances. For the $6.50 price, I couldn't be happier. I ordered a more sophisticated alternative which I actually threw away. The Cimo case took a direct drop on a wood floor with absolutely no sign of damage. The Cimo is ideal for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good case for Motomaker Moto X 7 September 2013

I bought the clear version of this case for my wife's Moto X. She loves it! It give the MotoX a little more bulk but the extra protection is nice. It has a hole for the little "M" dimple on the back which allows you to still use that spot on the phone for your finger during calls. The side of the phone had a good grip so it will not fall out of your hands very easily.

The only down side is that about half of the case is not totally clear. Since my wife has a Crimson Red back that she likes to show off it does mute the color on the cloudy portion of the case. Overall though it very nice case especially for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very nice case with a perfect fit. 6 March 2017

First I ordered a black case for my three year old Moto X with a thick and heavier cover installed about two years ago. The new case is much thinner and it brings out the elegance of my phone. It no longer feels bulky and heavy in my pocket. The edges of both sides have an anti-slip finish for secured hold. The overall fit is perfect with all openings at a precise location. The surface at the on-off and volume buttons are slightly raised only, but after a while I got used to it. After a couple of weeks I ordered a second, clear case for my wife's phone and she loves it. That tells it all😀.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Addition to the Moto X 6 December 2013

I am extremely pleased with this case. I was reluctant to put any kind of case on my Moto X because I like the look, shape, and feel of the device so much, but decided to give this case a try after studying all of the popular models. The Cimo case is very form fitting and maintains the lines and style of the Moto X while adding just a slight bit of heft and "grippy" feel to it, and I think it improves both the feel and appearance of an already excellent device. One thing that surprised me is the feel of the case's material. Most of the back is a sort of matte finish, while the "S" curved area is glossy. Quite the opposite of what you might expect, the glossy section is much more "grippy" that the matte section, and is located exactly where your fingers and palm fall on the device (at least for right handed people) giving it a really secure and solid feel. The knobby texture of the sides also enhance the secure feeling of the case. There is no cutout for the buttons, but they are easy to operate. In fact, I think I prefer this design since, without the case, it is a bit too easy to hit the power button and turn on the screen when you don't intend to. The circular cutout for the Motorola logo dimple is a very nice feature. (I realize I keep using the work "feel", but since much of your interaction with your phone is through your hand, I think this is one of the most important aspects of a good case.) I chose the black case for my black Moto X and it looks really good. I'm old enough to remember when most electronic devices came with a black crackle finish, and I still like that look, so black on black was the way to go for me. :-) UPDATE: Since I was ordering some other things from Amazon I decided to order a red version of this case just to see how I liked it. The black version is completely opaque, while the red version is transparent in the smooth sections ("S" curve, sides, and front) and translucent in the matte area of the back. On a white device I think it would appear as a vivid red, while on the black Moto X the black shows through enough to make it appear more of a brick red. It's still very attractive and just as functional as the black version so I'll be using it for now just for the different look it gives the phone. If I tire of the red (I don't think I will) I can switch back to the basic black.
