5.0 out of 5 stars Works great! 2 April 2016

Fantastic buy!
The LG V10 is not a small phone so a charger that allows the phone to stand up at night needs to be solid and this one fits the bill.
The charger is not heavy but doesn't feel cheap either. It's easy to place the phone in the charger at night even if the lights are off and you're half asleep.
There is a blue light when the phone is charging and a red light when the battery is charging. I do not find the light to be bright in a dark room so it won't disturb you.
In the picture with the battery there's a silver object between the phone and battery. It is my finger ring that's attached to the back of the phone. It helps to stabilize the phone when I'm typing on it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cost little and works well 5 June 2016

For those of you who prefer a visual: [...]

Everyone else, read on!

I needed a better way to charge my phone on my desk instead of plugging in the usb cord I ran from my computer which looked ugly and was little cumbersome. The answer was definitely this device which does a bit more than just charge the phone.

LOOKS

The cradle looks good but I could do without the glossy finish. The gray & black go well with my white desk so no problems with the colors at all. It could also use a bit more weight. It moves when putting the phone in and taking it out but not enough to bother me.

FUNCTION
The cradle can charge your phone from regular speeds up to fast charging speeds depending on what power source you plug it into. If you plug the cradle into your computer the phone will charge at normal speeds. If you plug it into the wall using the fast charger that came with your V10, the phone will say Fast Charging and charge faster with or without an extra battery plugged in as well.

About that extra battery, ever since I got one and a battery charger via the LG V10 promo, I hardly ever plug my phone into the wall when I'm on the go. I simply keep a spare battery charged at all times and swap as needed so being able to simply pop a battery into the cradle to charge even while charging my phone is really neat. The cradle even has a separate charging led for the battery.

Lastly, in terms of function, the dock works flawlessly when it comes to managing files on your phone when plugged into a PC as well. Right now, I have the cradle plugged into a USB port at the back of my computer so I can drop the phone into it and transfer files as I need if I need to. This is actually important to me right now as I'm recording videos more on my phone for my YouTube channel till I finish saving up for a new camera.

DURABILITY
I haven't had the cradle long enough to judge it's durability. If it does break within the next year, I'll be sure to update the review.

RECAP PROS/CONS
Neutral look that blends in with most setups.
Dual charging works great. Can charge phone and extra battery with ease.

CONS
Needs to be a little heavier. Moves a bit when docking and undocking the phone.

CONCLUSION
All I was looking for was a dock to charge the phone and I got more than I bargained for for less than $20 which makes me quite happy. If you need a cradle for your V10 that's cheap and gets the job done, I recommend this.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Without a Case, Bad With a Case 6 August 2016

While this dock may be a good looking device, I found it to be nearly impossible to use with by LG G5. It allows a small insert to be removed to give a little extra length to the male charging connector, but the width is the issue. I could not find a case slim enough to place in this charging dock.
I first tried a Poetic case that had corner bumpers. I knew that would be an issue, so ordered an Incipio Edge Chrome due to it being a much thinner case with a removable bottom. To my surprise, this was also too thick of a case.
Even putting the phone in the dock with no case was a little more snug than I expected. Due to this issue, I'm returning the dock. It is functional, but I just can't go without a case that offers no more protection than a napkin.

3.0 out of 5 stars I will replace the cable with an approved charging cable so can get better performance from this product 20 April 2016

Works as intended. Supplied cable is safe and only provides trickle charge to my Nexus 5X. I will replace the cable with an approved charging cable so can get better performance from this product. I do like how it plugs in easily and dosn't stick to the device when in use.

3.0 out of 5 stars An ok dock for the price 22 January 2017

Disappointed this charging dock goes from USB-C to Micro USB instead of USB-C to USB-C. I was looking for something to use with the fast charge block. The dock in my opinion could use more weight in the bottom to hold it steady if you tap on the screen. I am using a Nexus 6P and if you swipe or tap anything above the bottom 1/4 of the screen while your phone is on the dock it rocks and wants to fall over. I guess you get what you pay for, this wasn't a very expensive dock but it wouldn't have taken much to make it really good.
