3.0 out of 5 stars Great for Music, Poor for Phone Calls (for the distant end) 3 July 2016
By Ron Watts - Published on Amazon.com

There's a lot to like about these earphones, and here is a listing:

-Magnetic earpieces allow you to make them into a necklace for carrying
-Flat cable prevents tangles
-Excellent carrying case
-Three sizes of earbuds, and you REALLY have to get the right ones to maximize the sound quality; a good fit changes the sound from ok to fabulous
-Long battery life
-Ear 'wings' included for those who like them
-Controls work perfectly
-Super loud in the ear, so be careful of your sound settings
-Frequency response is excellent, great highs, great bass, great presence, all types of music come across pleasantly

Then there is the down side:
-When using the headset making or receiving a phone call, the microphone volume is too low for the distant party to hear you properly. This is really a show-stopper for me, but the music performance was so good I split the difference and gave it an OK rating. I tried numerous calls and got the same results repeatedly. Mic volume is too low. And of course, there is no control over the mic.

Disclosure: I received a set in exchange for an honest review

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but lacking range! 1 July 2016
By Orlando - Published on Amazon.com
Initial quality looked and felt solid. Specs are good. My complaint, Bluetooth range.

Build: Magnetic Bluetooth earphones with sweatproof design and mobile controls.

Sounds: Sound is overall good, good lows and highs, lacking in the mids but nothing I would lower the 4-star review from. Bass is nice and deep but not overwhelming. Highs are nice and crisp with good and distinct clarity. Mids are lacking, but this is not an audiophile set of earphones so I am not too concerned about the mids.

Bluetooth: Bluetooth v4.1+EDR but no APTX. Connection is easy to pair with, but the range was disappointing. I wasn't able to get more than 7-8 yards without losing my connection, and this was outside in my yard.

Comfort: I found them rather comfortable, no complaints in this department. Just ensure you have a proper seal.

4.0 out of 5 stars How Well It Works Depends on the Device 6 May 2016
By ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - Published on Amazon.com
If you're looking for high-end earphones, these aren't it. If you want something that works for a reasonable price, you've found it -- but it depends on the device. My son uses it on his iPod Touch. He prefers it over the earphones that came with the iPod, and he uses it all the time. I personally don't like that the volume, although adjustable, doesn't go down low enough. So, I tried it on my HTC One M8, and the volume problem is definitely device-related. I can turn the volume way down when I use it with my phone.

Now, the volume with the iPod Touch is louder than I'd like for my son, but I can see that many people would listen to their music at that volume. Still, I would give it three stars for the iPod Touch.

For the HTC One M8, I like it -- four stars. The sound leans more to treble than bass. If you want the fullness, you may have to spring for something higher end. There is no static and best of all, no cord thump. The set comes with little wings to help it stay in the ears, though my son says it still falls out of his. There are several extra rubber inserts. He thinks they're the same size, but they're not. I can't convince him to try the others, though.

Overall, the earphones work fine. I like the magnet that holds the earbuds together. When my son's not listening to music, he can secure the earphones around his neck and not lose them. The side controls are intuitive and work well. We haven't tried the microphone because he's using and iPod Touch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beats, your inexpensive cousin has arrived! 8 July 2016
By Jenya - Published on Amazon.com
I got these to keep in my gym bag and suitcase for times when forgot (or forgot to charge lol) my $250 bluetooth set. I also wanted a pair that weren't quite as expensive, for those times when it was risky to use my pricey ones; hanging in the hot tub, letting my toddler "borrow" them (meaning he steals them from my desk and runs away laughing), or hanging out dangerously close to the splash zone while the kiddos are running wild at the waterpark. These are just times when you'd rather have a pair of bluetooth headphones that are so inexpensive, you won't cry when they get broken, lost, or wet! With that said, I had hoped that these would be decent enough... I wasn't expecting great quality like my pricey set, so imagine my surprise when these actually work great! (You can also imagine my frustration that I could have just bought these for $25 instead of the others for $250+. Enter angry face here.)

These came packaged well- so well, that I wouldn't be embarrassed going them as a gift. (I'm hoping my 10 year old niece doesn't see this review before her upcoming birthday or her present will be blown.) I'll snap a picture and include it so you can see the professional packaging.

I also like that these are the no-tangle material. So, Jawbone and Beats, you're inexpensive cousin has arrived! I keep these wadded up in a pouch in my purse- never a tangle in the last 3 weeks since they arrived. That is huge for a mom on the go! I don't have time to play the pretzel game before hitting the gym or rushing to catch a plane. They do come with a small round case which I happen to like, but I prefer to just keep mine tossed in a corner pocket of my bag.

The sound is nice and clear. Maybe not quite stellar like Bose but really clear and no static whatsoever. Connection is easy too- it's the same as Jawbone and any other bluetooth headset; hold the button, wait for the connection mode, and easily find it on your phone, or fancy music device. Piece of cake, and any technologically savvy monkey with an iPhone could do it (I stole that line from my husband.)

The fit. This is a huge one for me and for my husband. If you get down and sweaty at the gym, you know that the fit of your headphones is extremely important or you will be dealing with runaway earbuds, irritated skin, or the uneven tones of Linking Park in one ear and faint sounds of Katy Perry in the other. These fit great! They are snug, inner ear buds and there are a few sizing pieces included to find the right fit.

The best part- the buttons that are on the device strap itself. My first Jawbone bluetooth set did not have these and it drove me crazy. I would be boxing and have a call coming in- I would have to stop, take off my gloves, leave the ring and find my bag, search for my phone and then answer the call. At the very least, I had to pull out my phone just to forward past that song I kept meaning to take off my playlist. Either way, it was a pain in the arse and that was the last bluetooth headset I have ever purchased without the controls on the device itself. That being said, with this particular bluetooth, you can do everything you need to, without pulling out your phone/mp3 player. Fwd, Reverse, Answer Call, Decline call... I love the simple things in life and music, don't you?

I received a small discount for sharing a review I would have gladly written anyway :) I used this device for over 3 weeks before writing my review to make sure I was familiar and confident with what I shared. If you found this review helpful, great! Let me know by clicking that "helpful comment" button below or leave me a question and I'll be happy to answer. Now touch gloves and go!
4.0 out of 5 stars 3.5 Interesting Concept 1 July 2016
By Julie - Published on Amazon.com
Summary: Bluetooth headphones with magnets on the back.

Random Comments:
- At first, I was kind of skeptical. I mean, it's not that big of a deal to have a wire connecting your headphones to the device you want to use or to just not use headphones at all. However, I will say that when playing Halo music, there's something extra added by having the music blasted directly into your ears rather than to the air around you.
- Took me a little time to get it to pair properly, but that was me not reading the directions closely the first time. There's really only one power button, so the various functions "on", "off", "pair mode" are distinguished by holding down the button for various lengths of time depending on what it is currently doing. Paired fine.
- Ranger is decent. I could be across the room, roughly 15-ish feet away before I lost the signal. I don't have much to compare it to, but I don't see that being a problem for most people. They'd probably have heart failure if their phone was out of their reach by that many feet.
- Interestingly, the "negative" button changed the song. Not sure it was supposed to do that. Ah, yes, well according to directions, that is supposed to happen...long press of "-" would be volume down, apparently short press is switch to next song.
- I had a little trouble getting it to sit in my ears right, but then I switch which I was using for left and right and found it more comfortable. Not sure I'd use these for heavy duty workout or something...probably just go get a running belt and go wired up.
- Aside from slightly clunky controls, it's a very cool product. The exchange of few controls is that it's pretty small, practically weightless.
- Not quite sure the benefit of being wireless outweighs the added cost.
- The bass is amazing...but learn how to control the volume if you want to possess workable eardrums in a few months.
- It talks to you to tell you when the power's on, off, device connected. That's slightly disconcerting.
- I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of having to charge your headphones. So many things need charging today, no wonder people need splitters that are capable of charging 6 devices at once.
- Update7/1/16 - Still a nice set of headphones but the controls are super clunky. It's difficult to change volume or channel.

Conclusion: I think it's a neat concept.
