Well, at least Bluetooth pairing works with my Galaxy S4. NFC did nothing.
I have got a 16 GB Micro-SD card to work in the player one time. Took it out to try the 64 GB card I bought along with the headphones. That card did not "connect" and the 16 GB one does not "connect" any more either.
On the plus side, over Bluetooth the sound is great.
The manual is not real clear, but since I got the player to work for a while I presume I understood the instructions for starting it up. NFC paring instructions seemed clear, but the device did not do make a sound nor did the phone go into paring mode. There is an equalizer, but I could not say if it works. No feedback when trying to change it, so it would be up to my tin ears to know if something changed.
I have sent an e-mail the company customer support with questions. We will see what the response is.
In the meantime, after reading reviews of other comparably priced Bluetooth headsets I think I will just stick with these. Sound quality is a 5 star, and if the other features were usable the whole unit would rate that.
I have had responses to my e-mail. I now have a 32GB MicroSD card fully functional. But I still cannot get the 64GB card to be recognized.
I see that the descriptions now say that the max MicroSD is 32GB. So I guess the support for 64GB was a mis-print. I guess 32GB will do, but 64GB would have been nice.
Just in case someone was wondering..... I bought my wife the Beats Wireless red model the same time i bought the Bluedio Wireless and we did a comparison and the only thing that we could see that Beats did better was the overall presentation, i.e. packaging, (cute)red audio cable and charger. So if you really need the cute packaging, cables and the name then go ahead and pay the extra $160, but if you just want a really nice wireless headset with 2 wireless options and a internal player this is the one for you.
I have used these while sprinting on the treadmill and they do not budge. I don't have to mess with them at all. I have also used them will jumping rope, box jumps...they stay. For situps and and especially pushups, they may move around a little, but don't fall off.
The sound is AWESOME. Love it, love it.
The only negative thing about them is that they are pretty bulky. It just takes some working around when doing weighted exercises like overhead tricep extensions.
Love them, would recommend them to anyone looking for a bluetooth option for working out or just listening to music
