Informative, thought provoking, funny, opinionated, passionate, and educational. This is one of the funnest magazines I have read in a long time. I always find something new to think and ponder. I have learned about things I would have never even known existed if it weren't for The Hacker Quarterly. The articles are written by both staff and laymen alike. This is a terrific buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Privacy-centric, excellent! 19 November 2014

Do you know your "toll tag" and license plate is read at several places within your city and not just for the "speeding ticket" or toll booth?. Read the "Transmissions" for a good idea of data collection and wireless devices.
"Dev Manning, IT Private Investigator" it's and amazing techno-novel. But you need to find the first chapters on previous 2600 issues.
Finally, if you want to know someone truly paranoid but amazingly good at OPSEC, read "All I want is Total Freedom" by lifeguard.
